The hotel is 6.5 miles west of the airport on Broadway Street, IL-15.  They completed a $4 million renovation five years ago, making this hotel the nicest in the Mount Vernon area.

Camping is available at the airport with two showers in the maintenance hanger and a port-a-potty at the campsite.  Please remember that there are no alcoholic beverages allowed on the grounds so we always drink "root beer".  If you don't know what that is, just ask someone with what appears to be a camouflaged beverage in their hand.  Just remember what the Marine Corps Manual says:  "A good Marine NEVER gets caught"!
