Each year KR enthusiasts, builders, and pilots travel to the KR Gathering to exchange ideas, to learn more about the KR, talk to pilots and other builders, to take pictures to assist in the building process and to see friends from past Gatherings. The 2012 KR Gathering is scheduled to be held at Mount Vernon, IL. It will be the fortieth anniversary of KR flight. We are attempting to gather 40 flying KRs for the 2012 KR Gathering. It will be the best ever KR Gathering in history, so plan to be there. Many thanks to Larry Flesner and his staff of expert volunteers, including airport manager Chris Collins, for their efforts in hosting the KR Gathering.
